​Designed with little ones in mind, all our teething products, dummy clips, and weaning items are tested to a high standard to ensure your little ones stay safe.

Safety is our upmost priority, you precious little ones deserve only the very best, that's why each of our products has been carefully and thoroughly safety checked and made from the highest quality safe material. 

Each product comes with their own safety warning and cleaning instructions.

Teething Rings/ Toys

 All of our products comply with BS EN71 (Part 1, 2 & 3 see below links) safety requirements.

They are tested internally prior to production and are made to European children’s safety standards. They have been rigorously tested externally at an independent UK UKAS accredited testing house for strength/physical, flammability and toxicity this is to ensure what we are doing is safe and to apply the CE mark for toys.

We give warning that you should always use our products with adult supervision and never leave your child unattended with our products. Before each use check carefully. Throw away at the first sign of damage or weakness.

Dummy Clip Safety

Our dummy clips are the perfect accessory to match your little one's outfits.

They are designed to be attached to a piece of clothing and a dummy on the looped end, a great way to stop them being dropped on the floor.

Not only do they look great they are flexible, soft and easily cleaned.

You can even match them with our whole teething range.

Our dummy clips are rigorously tested and have been tested by an independent UK testing house to ensure they meet the British Safety Standards  BSEN 12586:2007+A1:2011. This is to ensure quality and safety of our products for your little ones.

All of our dummy clips come with the following warnings for your childs safety:

Before each use check carefully. Throw away at the first sign of damage or weakness
Never lengthen the soother holder.
Never attach to cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing as there is a risk of strangulation.
Do not use this item whilst in a cot, bed or crib.
A dummy clip is not a toy or a teething accessory, it is also recommended that your child does not chew on any parts of this product.
Whilst not in use, please store safely out of reach of children.
Soother holder/ dummy clips should only be attached to a garment.


Nursing Necklaces

​It is important to know that our necklace are NOT toys. They are designed as adult jewellery and should never be worn by children under the age of 36 months. Never leave your baby alone with a necklaces as it poses as a choking/strangulation risk. Adult supervision is required at all times.

The necklace beads are double knotted securely on to the cord and fitted with a break away clasp. The clasp is not designed to be chewed on. The reassuring feature means the clasp will release if pulled and the cord will not break under pressure ensuring the small beads will not detach.

Need to shorten your necklace?

Open the breakaway clasp, pull the thread through, reknot tightly, then cut off the excess cord off. Please remember to reknot after the clasp.


Suction Bowls & Plates:

All Mummy & Austin Boutique products and packaging complies with BS EN 14372:2004 safety requirements part 1 - the most rigorous European Safety Standards for infants cutlery and utensils. . Our products have been tested for physical safety and chemical migration, (EN71 part 1 and 3) by a UKAS accredited testing house.

All of our silicone products are made from 100% food grade silicone which is also tested to LFGB  EU Silicone Standards. LFGB Silicone is the highest quality siliconne available on the market. They are also FDA approved, and do not contain any harmful chemicals such as; BPA, Lead, Phthalates, Mercury, PVC or latex.

Cleaning your products:

Our products can be kept clean by washing the silicone in warm water or wiping them down. Teether with wooden teething rings/beads should never be submerges in water. All items should be left to air dry.

If you wish to maintain any wooden elements from drying out they can simply be coated in a Natural bees wax, Olive oil or Coconut Oil. Please note that we do sell our items with wax/oils due to allergies.

We recommend that you wash before first use and regular clean your items. 

Personalised Items

Please make sure your items are spelt correctly when submitting through the website, we cannot be liable for your mistake.
All items are non refundable if the order has gone ahead for personalised items.

Extreme care and attention is taken into account before each order is shipped. We would not be liable for improper use or the failure to correctly supervise your child using these products. 

Each product must be regularly checked (beads, cord, clasp) for any damage or wear and tear.

Discard immediately if damaged.

We are also not liable for any incorrectly spelt personalised items by the customer.
